Pros: Noiseless well made and as advertised
Cons: expensive

I was very interested in the sound of the Telecaster pickup, especially the noiseless variety. I became hooked on Kinman Pickups and wanted to be able to compare the difference especially between Stock Fender Delta Tone Pickups and the two varieties offered by Kinman (The '48 Broadcaster and the '60 Custom series). So I recorded different snippets of my own songs played through the different pickups I have and also through the different amps I have. The results are in the music page. Link above.

Some files at the end of the song list are direct to the board so you can down load them and play them thru your amp and see what it would sound like on your settings.

The files that were routed through my Pro Junior or 65 Deluxe Reverb RI were mic'ed with an AKG 414.

Hope this, along with the sound samples on Chris Kinmans main page, help you decide which is right for you.
