After my poly clear coat pealed off my nocaster copy, I decided to shop around for a refinisher. I talked to Redd and he told me that Mark Jenny a fellow TDPRI'r had refinished his nocaster, so I emailed Mark and he said that he'd be happy to do the finish.
I had the body back in 3 weeks. Great finish, thin, light relicing to match the wear and tear on my tele neck. It's about 50% translucent, just how I like it!
Also I have one of Redd's tele's, that has a Brian Poe Body finished by MJ and it's an awesome vintage sunburst. Thick and cool looking. Before I talked to Redd about the guitar I had believed that it was a late 50 early 60's tele, till he informed me. Just 50's parts and an awesome finish.
------------------------------ Play'n tele till I drop!
