I thought I'd give the OCD a plug. I've been using it for a few years and it's not going anywhere. That alone says something. It has the tube amp tone without any extraneous transistor sound. I like the High/Lo output switch. For a clean amp setting the High setting gives you that Marshall Plexi thing, not over the top but just right. With a cranked amp the Lo setting sounds better to my ear. It lets your amp's output tubes do the talking. At $159 I think it's a fair deal (not a steal!).

the OCD is a great pedal. its built like a tank too.
one wouldnt expect much from a 3 knob pedal but dont let that full you. these pedals give you from a very clean boost all the way to full blown overdrive.
its a very transparent tone even fullblown. nothing muddy about this pedal thats for sure. i team mine up with a MXR carboncopy delay through my tweed blues jr and i have everything i need. strats or tele's this is a killer setup guaranteed to please even the biggest tone snobs lol.

it's been my "plexi in a box" for more than two years...it really shines on the clean channel of a marshall amp, slightly less amazing on a fender or a Vox, but gives its best with a Roland JC...when no tube saturation interfere with the sound of the pedal, you can rate it : and it's fantastic.
Like the previous review I also have carbon copy and OCD...and it's a killer pair !

What I find most interesting in the OCD is that it has both silicon and germanium transistors depending on if you have the hi/lo switch in either position. So you are not just filtering off highs, but introducing some slightly different character with either setting.
The OCD was recommended to me when I said I wanted more gain but I didn't want it to sound like using a pedal.
Fulltone pedals are made in California and have excellent clean soldering and solid construction.
