Pros:
price?
Cons:
sound!
long time player - i like to experiment- prefer balanced and articulate sound no matter what style, guitar or settings i play.....
have a light weight nocaster style tele with brass saddles-more aggressive and middy than a 'usual' tele
used boomers (steel) hopefully to get a bit more edge and brightness
I find these strings to be overly bassy and lacking in sparkle
these strings do not compliment the above guitar well, nor could i see them being useful on a strat or LP
they might be helpful on a guitar with very weak pick ups-perhaps a Mosrite or Ricky or possibly a Dano-something needing less treble and more bass
very disappointed-live and learn-quality is good, sound is not
Note: these are the only NEW strings i have ever used which have leftblack on my fingertips-not a big deal-just unusual

Pros:
Good variety of gauged sets
Cons:
Lame sound, black fingers
Same here, no sparkle, just sounded a bit dead and I got the black fingers too. I tried a few sets, from different vendors, and they were all the same. I don't get the black finger with EB, D'Addario, or Fender strings. I've gone back to using EBs.
