Pops thru your amp when it is turned on

Bought this last year and have played a few guitars thru it some with seymour duncan pick ups and some with just stock fender and gibson pick ups this little thing is very good at what it does,it will give you anything from 6db to 25db of clean gain boost and has a resonance switch that has three posistions wich drops the resonance of the pick up by several hrtz to make single coils sound like humbuckers if you leave it in the center posistion it does not efect the true output of your pick up the effect advertised as true bypass and is very quiet even when turned full up except for the intial switch pop when you turn it on you hear a slight pop thru your speaker,it can make a weak pick up sound very nice and works to hit your amps front end a little harder more so even when you use an od like a blues driver or comp i find it very useful when for adding a little punch to the neck pick up on my tele.as with all seymour duncan stuff it seems to be good quality all in all i have found it to be useful and have left it on my pedal board even though at first I wasnt crazy about it,I just found myself liking it more and more as i got to see just what it could do.if your looking for a clean boost or to add some punch to a set of stock pick ups you cant go wrong with this pedal.
