Pros: Tone, Tone, Tone...
Cons: None

I found the lowest price on the Web; printed the page and went to my local Fender dealer. They beat the price. I had the bridge pickup once and installed it in my Nashville B-Bender Tele (poplar body). It did not sound good at all; at least to me. It was too fat and beefy for a COuntry pickup. Well, after getting a nice 50's Classic Tele, I thought I'd give it another try. I went ahead and bought the set; which includes the nickel-silver cover. The neck pickup is very very nice. Big-sounding like a Twang King but better. I can change the pickup's tone by using different picking techniques. A light touch yeilds smooth humbucker-like tones while bearing down will give nice meaty Strat-type tones.

The bridge pickup is where I was really surprized. I was amazed... Big, meaty, springy, smooth, extremely punchy, and very sparkly. It overdrives smoothly without getting harsh like my Texas Special did. The stock pickups were okay; but you know how that goes. When I installed the pickup and strung it up, it was like the guitar suddelny breathed life. I can't say enough about it. I have tried all sorts of pickups. These will not come out unless Seymour makes me a custom set.
