Pros: Practical and should have been what it was originally
Cons: Not original

Leo got everything right the first time...except for the jack socket design.

Pros: beautifully made
Cons: none

No better upgrade available for a Tele jack.

If you want a bright finish, polish it. No big deal.

Pros: Cheap and worth it!
Cons: none

I've assembled many dozen Tele's, I refuse to use any other output jack. Saves the customer money and me alot of frustration. Buy it now!

Pros: Chicks dig Electrosocket owners
Cons: It's like saying something negative about pizza

Electrosockets fit any 7/8 inch round Tele output jack hole and are made of lightweight anodized aluminum. I believe they come in matte black, matte nickle and matte gold finishes, but can each be shined up if you wish.

Unlike the overly complex jack configuration that comes on every stock Telecaster, installing an Electrosocket is fairly easy... simply screw the Electrosocket onto the existing jack, then install the two angled mounting screws through the Electrosocket to hold it firmly in the jack hole. Just don't slip with the screwdriver or bad things could happen.

For best results, use a SwitchCraft #11 jack (the best you can buy).

AND REMEMBER FOLKS... the jack on your axe is called an output jack, NOT AN INPUT JACK. The input jack is on your amp. Even I slip on this every so often. :)
