Of all the parts I've ever purchased, this replacement for the piss-poor standard Telecaster jack is the best ever.
It's simple: two screw holes in the side of the jack for wood screws. You scre the thing right to into the side of the body, and it DOESN'T MOVE! (Or buzz, or quit in the middle of a set).
I never have intermittent connections anymore. Solid as a a rock.
Purchased from Stew-Mac.

I was tired of trying to "thread the needle" when inserting my cord jack all the time. I saw this online at
Quick Connect's eBay store and wanted to try it. It was
not hard to install at all, perhaps 12-15 minutes tops to take off control plate, pull stock unit out and thread the jack into the new socket. It works very well and ends all the fumbling when trying to hook up with the amp.IMHO-It was a superb, low cost upgrade that is well worth the $$!

This is a beautiful piece of simple engineering that will forever end the loose jack problem on the Telecaster. Its not for those who wish to alter their vintage guitar, but its a godsend for the rest of us.
Its a round aluminum disc that fits into the jack hole, held in place by two screws that enter the body at 45 degree angles and sit flush against the electrosocket itself. Simple and efficient. The recessed angle of the socket guides your guitar cord into the jack. It is rock solid, never moves or loosens, and it looks great.
Highly recommended.

It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come."

No better upgrade available for a Tele jack.
If you want a bright finish, polish it. No big deal.

I've assembled many dozen Tele's, I refuse to use any other output jack. Saves the customer money and me alot of frustration. Buy it now!
