I love this amp. I got the Mustang 3 first generation, not Version 2. You can get any sound you want out of this amp. The effects are highly adjustable especially when using fender fuse. You can go from fender's sparkling cleans to crazy heavy distortion. I used to use a pedal board (distortion overdrive eq chorus delay and reverb) but now i just use the 2 button footswitch it came with and the optional 4 button footswitch. With both footswitches there is almost no need for pedals because of how adjustable and how good the effects on the amp are, and it is pretty easy to use. After a half hour to 45 mins of playing with it i had it completely figured out. As for volume, this could do a club gig no problem for sure. I had it shaking my house and it still sounded awesome and pretty much all the presets that the amp comes with sounds good also (some are a bit weird).
With everything this amp comes with and can do I'm surprised at how cheap it is.

i love this guitar. I mainly play metal on it and it got no problem nailing the really heavy tones I need on the bridge pickup and a really nice smooth and warm lead tone on the neck. I don't use clean too much, but when I do the guitar got no problem handling it on either of the 3 pickup positions. Overall I'd say there is no need to change the pickups in this guitar as they are high output and versatile enough to do anything / Tone 5 /
The playability was the main thing that made me want the guitar as the 1st time I played one it was unplugged and I loved that the neck plays like butter and the tummy cut makes it really comfortable by far one of the most comfortable guitars I have played. / Playability 5 /
The guitar just looks simply amazing. I got the silver one with the maple fingerboard and the finish is perfect. The neck fit to the pocket perfectly and feels like it was built to last. The only slight flaw in the design is the reversed control plate because of the fact I like going back and forth between the neck pickup and the bridge pickup in the middle of songs, and cause of the location of the switch its hard to go from the neck pick to the bridge cause the tone knob is in the way / Design 4 /
The features are good and to the point. The tuning keys are good and precise and stay in tune really well. The fixed bridge and string thru body give it good sustain. The pickups are amazing. Nothing seems low quality whatsoever. No fancy trem or locking tuners just how I like it - the bare essentials / Features 4 /
You just can't beat the value of this guitar. It's definitely the top in its price range and can probably beat higher priced guitars IMHO it's worth more then it is / Value 5 /
I'd say my next guitar will be another of the blacktop series. Fender really did a good job with these.

Will not go over the specs on this one, but I really like this amp, esp for cleans. Has very open sound and quite bright. This thing is quite loud, have had zero problems with the reliability of this amp. However, think over time the tubes have gotten worn out, distortion is a bit farty.

Absolutely stonking finish, neck is also very very good, frets are finished well but the fretboard colouration is very light and looks dried out,but I can soon remedy that, near on the mark set up out of the case.
Only let down by the weak pickups...they are coming out and Mojos(UK) going in,
A lot of tele for the money

This is my opinion of the Micro Pog!
No colouration of tone and quiet.
Great with a good fuzz and wah for all Hendrix freaks, and the lower octave with standard and dropped is great for all the Pantera, SlipKnot fanatics. Not a tone fattener, a distinct tracking octave. Which I found to be superb.
Got it for my son who fell out of love with it, so I moved it on, I don't use pedals in my line anymore except for a booster.
Now he regrets the loss, S' happens.

I had the MK1 version first and the jack sockets very quickly stripped their thread, in particular the input. I did a fix on it and sold it, the guys happy.
Now I've got the MK2 and no problems with the sockets, Peterson upgraded them and added extra worthwhile tuning features.
Super accurate, easy reading, copes with a huge variety of tunings including its famous compensated, and the power line out runs my line booster.

Great gigging amp when you're calling on all era's/styles. I just new when I got it I'd be changing the speakers for something that does the amp justice, and I loaded it with Eminence Delta Pro 12's. They do make it even heavier, but then I really do get all the characters of the amp without any speaker screwup.

Very good looking tele- which was the main reason I ordered it. Sound- pickups were ok- not as "hot" as I thought they might be, but good. Fit & finish- this was the problem and I have found out that it is inherent in the MIM Cabs- the high E and B strings are not lined up properly with the pickups- the bridge it seems has a spacing defect. Also this means the high E is right alongside the fret board edge and could easily roll off. There apparently is an aftermarket bridge that can fix the problem, but I didn't want to go through modding a brand new guitar that should have had the string spacing already correct- sent it back- now looking out for a Telebration Cab.
