    Your amps and other gear:
Marshall DSL40C, Fender '65 Princeton Reverb reissue, '16 Gibson Firebird V, '15 Gibson Midtown, '16 Gibson Les Paul Standard T, 2016 '51 modified Fender Tele partscaster, '17 Guild T-bird ST200.
I am a 61 yrs old retired drummer. I've been playing guitar for many years and unfortunately became afflicted with the deadly GAS virus for which there is no cure.
I have always been a Gibson guy, but recently got the itch for the Fender sound. I thought a Stat was the way to go, and though I do like my Strat, it's not the sound I was looking for....then came the Telecaster.
First was a MIM (the 1 in my avatar), much closer tone-wise, but still looking. Now with my latest acquisition, a 2016 Fender Tele modified '51 partscaster, I've found the tone my ears craved. I always knew Tele's sounded great, and when I finally found "it", it's now my number 1! If they only made an axe that plays like a short scale Gibson, but sounded like my '51 Tele.....(shaking my head)
