Playing gospel bluegrass this weekend.
I was invited to play my Gibson J 45 and mandolin along with a friend this Sunday. He plays banjo and dobro
Its a fund raiser to help a Gulf War widow to help build a home. Looking for ideas or song suggestions. Thanks

When we were at Merlefest we really enjoyed the Nashville Bluegrass Band and Doc perform "Standin' in the Need of Prayer".

I played Dobro in Gospel Bluegrass Band called "Mommas Boys" for three years in the early 90's. We played regularly at the Light House Mission We'd been playing together without a name for a bout a year and a half when one night after delivering a message about turning the other cheek, a couple of drunks hollered out "you guys are a bunch of Mommas Boys!"
