The New Jerusalem

Have any of you stopped to really think about how amazingly huge and magnificent the New Jerusalem will be? Its walls will be 1400 miles long and high. That's about from Detroit to Salt Lake City. They'll also be 72 Yards thick. That just blows my mind. I'm looking forward to it. Feel free to comment.

I've read the deminsions before. It's been a long time.
Don't think about all the physical deminsions and cosmetics too much. It is intersting to talk about and ponder. I just know it's going to be so great because Jesus has prepared it, he will be there and I know he knows what I need so much better than I do. The main thing is once your race is run all the cares, troubles, heartaches sand issues of this life will be over and it will be eternal bliss with saved love ones, friends and many strangers but all with one same kind good sweet spirit. I know there will be lots of music sending up praises for evermore and I will be in one of those heavenly Jam bands. I guess my prospective is I'll explore the Physical
properties of Heaven when I get there but to be in a place where all the children of God come together forever. Now that's New Jerusalem! Platefire

Yep, that's a really good thing to keep in mind. Our hope! Sometimes I forget that Heaven will be a physical place. For some reason, sometimes I think about it being all spiritual.

Platefire, you're right, if Christ has spent this long preparing it, imagine how awesome it's going to be. He spoke the universe into existence, he's been preparing the new place for thousands of years!

I'm glad there is a section of this forum where we can share our common bond.
