Clip of my Telecaster in church.
Hi all,
I've been playing acoustic in the praise band for about three years, but this summer I got my first electric (MIM Telecaster) and decided to add a little variety to our sound. Our band usually consists of piano, bass, drums, and three acoustic guitars. We lost our drummer earlier this year and our lead singer/acoustic guitarist has been handling most of the drumming duties. This week our piano player, bass player, and sound guy were all absent, so that left us with our three regular guitarists to cover all the instruments on our own. Let's see some of your clips if you have them. |

I like the quiet, simple arrangement. I try to stand so I can see what the acoustic player is doing. That way I can play the chords in a different voicing, usually higher up the neck for different harmony and frequency range.

Wow, that's awesome! I was in a band once that played real music like in your video.
I don't know what I'd do if the pianist in my current church called out sick...lol. There's no "Official" tabs/charts/chords for the songs played at my church...it's all improvised with no rhyme or reason to it.
