I've used mine twice now. Here is a pic of my horses in the stable, ready to go on a Sunday afternoon.

The original one was a WD Music pickguard but I wanted one with three holesd for the volume, tone and the SPC control (for the EMGs if you hadn't noticed) so I ordered a replacement from http://www.terrapinguitars.com/

Man, I should have been keeping up with this thread!! My apologies.

It's wired like a Strat with a standard 5-way blade switch and 250k pots.

Here's my new one...

I love this guitar. I did make some mods though. I replaced the stock electronics with all new. I installed a Fender 3-way switch and put my Duncan Lil 59 in the bridge position and wired it to be always parallel. I also changed out the 250k pots and installed 500k CTS pots. That helps with the Lil 59 and the neck humbucker. I left that stock because it sounds nice.

I am thinking of replacing both pickups at some point and installing a nickel-covered DiMarzio Air Classic in the neck position and a DiMarzio Area Hot T in the bridge position. We'll see....

Thanks, at $299 I knew I couldn't go wrong; especially when I played Fender Super Relics in the $1500 - $2,000 price range that didn't play or feel as good....

This is the Telecaster and amp that I play at Church Under The Bridge in Austin. The amp is 10 tube Watts with hypnotic slam effect grid bias tremolo. (so far, the PRS and Palomino have not made the trip).

I also use this tube preamp/boost on some songs.

I have a Godin bass that I played for several years at Life Connection Church in Round Rock. It's very nice and has active electronics, and flatwounds, baby.

Thank you very much!

It's been a labor of love. The CC in the neck is the perfect pickup.
It does soft bell tones with the tone knob dialed down, and with the tone knob wide open it has the perfect natural breakup/signal overdrive for blues, rock and Gospel.
