Some of the most fun I've had in a while
I am one of two electric guitarists in my church's youth band. Last wendsday we didn't have any songs that we were specifically going to play, and all the band members know our songs well enough. So we decided to have a request night. We had audience members yell out the three songs they wanted us to play, and we did it. It was tons of fun and even though we all messed up at some point, we got through it. If any of y'all play in a youth band, just a thought to mix things up.

We meet everyother week with a home fellowship of about 50 people. We will do 30 -45 min of music. It is all by request. Great fun, my favorite. From hymns to contemporary. I have about 250 songs in my song book. Sometimes we have had as many as 7 guitar players. It is a rackquet, but fun.
