Today is the Day (Brewster)
Majestic (Brewster)
Hosanna (Starfield)
Came to My Rescue (Hillsong)
Glory to God Forever (Fee)

This one should be fun. The other guitarist and I will each get to take a solo. One in Today is the Day and the other in Hosanna. Haven't quite worked out who's doing which one but it will be a great time either way.

None But Jesus

Jesus, Be The Center ( or "centre" if you're from across the pond I suppose)

Thy Lovingkindness (New this week. Kind of a reggae feel to it. I think there are multiple songs with this title.)

Your Grace

Blessed Be Your Name

Ok, I've been keeping notes and taking names...

In case you ever feel like, jeepers, it's the same stuff over and over, and everyone is playing the same thing, this (and the earlier, Worship Set Lists) thread, show that it's more complicated than that.

Admittedly, not a scientific study or fair statistical analysis, but I added them up (yep), and, through yesterday, there were 150 different songs listed in set lists in the 2 threads. Of those, only 34 were listed more than once. That's 116 songs, many of which some of us have probably not played! So, I'm going to go give them a listen if I can find them.

Suggestion: If you're doing a song that isn't on CCR rotation, give the rest of us a group/performer/Youtube link; and let us know what you think of it.

And, if you're looking for some overworked songs to give a rest, here's the top 8 with their frequency of appearance:

Your Grace is Enough 6
Mighty to Save 4
Blessed Be Your Name 3
Everlasting God 3
Holy Is the Lord 3
How Can I Keep From Singing 3
Love the Lord 3
Shout to the Lord 3

Peace...

You mean you actually know what you will play Sunday already. We never know ahead of time. I kinda like it that way though. Got to be ready for anything at our church.

LOL, reminds me of the pentacostal church I grew up in. Everything was last minute.

Pastor - "Brother Sean is going to play a special today"
Me- "I am? ... OK"

Nice song. Where in "south central PA" are you at? Just moved mom down here from Mechanicsburg, where I [mis]spent much of my youth. Sister is in Mt. Holly Springs area, lots of friends in York Springs and surrounding areas. Went to Ship for a while, too.

South Central PA is exactly where you are talking about. I go to church near Mechanicsburg. Live south of Mt. Holly Springs and I am not far from York Springs. Small world. This week the band isn't playing at church in the morning, we are opening our new building and honoring the legacy of the founding pastor, so it will be a piano/organ set. Sunday night is a different story, we are having a contemporary service. the set list is:
Doxology (crowder)
Let Got Arise
How Great is your faithfulness (new to us, by Tomlin I think)
How Great is our God
In Christ (see above post)
Come ye Sinner (Robbie Seay band)
You have saved us
My Savior, My God
Mighty to Save
Hear My worship
Praise the Father, Praise the Son
We were also going to do: Come thou Fount, Come thou King, but we scratched it in the interest of time and it wasn't coming together as quick as it needed to.

I'm at a brand new church - well, they've been around, just got there own building. A former bar - how appropriate!

It's a non denominational group, "reformed" bikers reaching out to the unsaved, mainly other bikers.

Somehow I got drafted . I do enjoy playing though. This Sunday we're doing:

1) Lord, I lift Your Name On High

2) Step by Step

3) How Great is Our God.

Our "leader", another guitar player, has a lot going on so it's mainly just me, my Darling Bride, and Susy, our drummer. we're going through growing pains, meshing as a group. Non of us are true musicians. We just love to play.
