We rotate 2 songs out of a set of 6 every sunday and there have been literaly hundreds of different songs that we have done. I try to forget what I have done in the past so I can remember the songs that we are doing. This Sunday will be'

I Love You With The Love Of The Lord
God Is Good All The Time
My Redeemer Lives
Indescribable
God Of Wonders
Awesome God
Be Still And Know

We have an extra one because we do requests from paritioners. Our church really likes their music.

3. How Great Is Our God (key of C)
4. You Are God Alone-Not A God (key C)

So that means you're always doing 4 songs two weeks in a row? That's an interesting way to do it. I do Sunday mornings & Wednesday nights, usually try not to do a song more than once a month, unless it's a new one that the congregation is learning. Then we do it two weeks in a row, skip a week, then do it again... by that time, it's familiar enough to go into the rotation.

Yesterday's set:

Salvation Is Here (Lincoln Brewster version)
Jesus Paid It All (Hymn)
My Reward
None But Jesus
Mighty To Save
How He Loves (David Crowder version)

Tomorrow we will be playing:

Blessed be your name
It is well (hymn)
(those two tie in so well together musically and thematically - at least how I play 'em)
Special music: A living prayer (by Alison Krauss)
Holy Spirit Come
Lord Reign in me

Best I can figure is the leader got a request some weeks ago and did it. After the song, he joked to the congregation that we were going to follow up with Bruce Springstein.

We do something out of the blue now and then....

Set List 1/8/2012
Meet With Me (Lamont Heibert)
Revive Us Again (old gospel hymn in 3/4 but we know how to rock it)
10,000 Reasons (Matt Redman) We introduced this song for the first time this week. I altered the melody a bit so humans could sing it but we stuck with key of G as transposing seemed to knock the guts out of the song. Very well received.
Your Grace is Enough (Maher/Tomlin)
Enough (Tomlin)

Used a Strat today - hope that counts. I tend to switch out guitars every couple of weeks or so. I've been on a Strat run for some reason lately.

Set list 1.15.12
1. Open the Eyes of my Heart
2. Potter's Hand
3. I Will Follow
4. Blessed be the Name of the Lord

Today they did:
Glory to God forever
I surrender all
Blessed is the man( an original based in psalm 1)
Holy is the Lord
Then for the offertory they did one thing remains by Jesus Culture
Of course I missed it all because I was mixing FOH, so we only had acoustic guitar, piano, bass and drums.
