Instrumental recessional music ?

I am looking for some ideas for some instrumental recessional/outro music for the end of our praise services. Nothing big and flashy, just some light background for the end of the service as people leave and/or visit when the service is done.

Thanks.

We usually play the chorus of the song we played before the pastor's closing prayer.
If it was an upbeat tune and people are praying or at the alter we may on the fly choose from one of the quieter pieces we did earleir.

Well, I went ahead and did up a couple of instrumental arrangements, but we'll have to wait until next time to use them. One is a Country Western version of a hymn...should be fun.

Yes, I do. I've got some original stuff even.

Our bass player is currently the limiting factor. I have to keep it simple.

Our order of worship starts with a "gathering" (aka prelude) song and ends with a "sending" (aka postlude) song. In between, we usually play 2-3 "praise" songs, prior to the message, and an "offertory" song.

We normally have ministry time (where we pray for each other) at the end of our services, during which time the worship leader plays a song or few on either acoustic guitar or keyboard. We dismiss during this time also.

Our prelude and postlude song are one and the same - usually a non-P&W song that is loosely tied to the sermon.

Last week the topic was God's promise, we played When In Rome's "I Promise"

Next week will be on Perseverance, we're going to play Journey's "Don't Stop Believing".
