Suggestions for song of healing

Looking for a simple and beautiful song of healing to sing at an in-home prayer service for my wife's stepmom who is battling late-stage cancer.

I'd welcome suggestions from the group. If you happen to have a link to chords/lyrics, all the better.

Blessings,

Dave

Does not deal specifically with healing but I love the song "Rescue".
Chorus..."I need you Jesus to come to my rescue, where else can I go......
Beauty of a song.

If the group is a faith based group I would recommend: "Hold Me Jesus" by Rich Mullins.

Here is a link to the chart:

I know of a song but can't seem to find it anywhere on the web. The name of the song is Healing Water, I can find numerous people doing Healing Waters but I can't find it anywhere. We do the song on my praise team everynow and then I will see if I can get the info on who wrote it and possibly where you could find it. It is a great song written in 6/8 and if has a very powerful healing message. However, I don't know if I will be able to get the info on it in a time period which you night need it. The song elmatt suggested is a great song, I have never heard it before but that seems to me to match what you are looking for pretty well.

Did a little looking on my older brothers iTunes and found out that the guy who wrote the song I was talking about is Stan Hinshaw. if you google Stan Hinshaw Healing Water you can find his CD Glorious which has it on it. But I can't seem to find the chords for it, if you go to this site http://cdbaby.com/cd/stanhinshaw you can listen to a short clip of it(track number 8) and it says if you log in you can email the artist.

Thanks, all, for the suggestions. I'll do a bit of spade work to look those up.

"Healer of Our Every Ill" - Marty Haugen. Fairly traditional, simple chords, but nice changes.

"Blessed be Your name" by Matt Redman is a very powerful song, may not be exactly what your looking for, but it is great. Taken from the book of Job where Job says that he will praise God no matter what his circumstances.

I'm a winner either way. Here's the words which have a very true meaning and seems to really comfort those that are battling health issues, especially those that are life threatening. My group sings it and it is very effective and comforting. God bless your wife's step mother.

I'm A Winner Either Way

A loved one knew he neared the end of life's journey
But he'd been holding to God's hand a long, long time
As I knelt beside his bed
My heart was blessed by what he said,
"If I go or if I stay, the victory's mine."

(CHORUS)

I'm a winner either way
If I go or if I stay
'Cause I'll still have Jesus with me each passing day
I'll have a healing here below
Or life forever if I go
Praise the Lord, I'm a winner either way

None of us really know about tomorrow
We must prepare to go to heaven any day
While we're here, just trust the Lord
He'll lead us there for our reward
By His grace, we'll be a winner either way.

(REPEAT CHORUS)
TAG:
Praise the Lord, I'm a winner either way.
