A lot of Newsboys songs would work.
"Take Me To Your Leader" comes to mind.

+1 on the Newsboys - my kids love 'em. "Belly of The Whale" from Jonah the Veggietales movie soundtrack is a fun song for kids.
My kids love TobyMac (if you can stomach it) also - but it's not so much VBS material as songs about life usually.
Superchick "Beauty from Pain" CD (even harder to stomach) is a favorite of theirs too.
