MeInMotion, Fireflite, Pillar in one Show, Last night

Ok so I'd never heard of any of these bands and I have never started a thread in this forum before but yesterday I was called upon to assist this tour with their performance in a little ol' Texas town.
I really gotta say they were all very professional and SO willing to meet with and talk to their fans.

PLEASE understand that I have no farther connection with any of these bands or their current tour but here is my take on the whole thing:

MEINMOTION: Three great young guys (one Telecaster I could not recognize with tort binding and tort guard). Bit mellower of a sound, but only just a bit.

FIREFLITE: 3 guys, 2 girls. The chick on bass rocked. More energy than I ever remember having. Best sound of all 3 bands. Too bad hair swinging doesn't show up on soundtracks. All very nice people.

PILLAR: Four dudes, band backdrop and all. Lead player with long dreadlocks. He kept them tucked up under a knit cap all day. I couldn't figure out who he reminded me of until much later (Marge Simpson). Nice message.

In total I got to spend a lot of time with all these bands and have to say that they are all very sincere about the message they carry, and yes, the marketing is there too but reasonably priced compared to what I've seen lately in other venues.

Acoustic Set, PILLAR: Ok if you're not a flat top player. Probably inspirational but not very interesting or musical.

Anyway, as I said, I'd never heard of them so I had no preconcieved notions. Some parts I was impressed with, others no so much.
I just thought this was pretty cool for a thrown together show in a town of about 20K people.

Get out and see them if you can. Not much musicality but a lot of energy.

I know of Pillar, the other two, dont ring a bell. I'll have to check them out.

While I'm a rocker, Pillar aint my cup-o-tea, but they have a great message, and a great heart as well!
