What a weekend!
I'm proud of us. I heard some great stuff.
Shannon's resonator guitar was probably the best sounding thing all weekend. I was in the parking lot when you started playing slide on it. I was impressed. I had to run all the way back to see what was goin' on. The soundman really worked it. I'm glad I got to talk to Johnny (and the rest of his band) for abit. That was inspiring. I wish I could sing like Johnny... That was my 1st gig for the New band members. (New bassist & percussionist). I think they enjoyed it. We had a hard time with our monitors. The NEW guys didn't hear very well onstage. We'll have to take our time soundchecking next time. My Gibson SG stayed in tune just enough to make me happy I got some pictures here I'll have to try & post. I'll be curious to find out how the festival did financially. It was a nice turnout for the whole weekend.

Rod (goldielocks) your slide playing is incredible. Always love listening to you and your band play.
Shannon (Trimmed and Burnin') your band was awesome and when the great Larry Howard joined your band for his set that had to be a huge treat! here is one picture of me playing my Trimmed and Burnin Belly Boy Tele |

I had a good time too. Good to see you again, Shannon. Sorry I missed saying goodbye when I left, I got distracted and forgot.
Hoped to meet Bellyboy, but heard you might have gone fishing for the day. Dusty Shoes sounded great, from what I could hear at the back of the stage. Goldilocks playing was amazing as usual, and continues to inspire me to practice, so I might catch up with him one day. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures this year, but here's some from last year.

A few more
The Back2Blues Guitar that I built was raffled off and a local man, Lester Aurell won. This is very cool because he has been on dialisis for 6 years and wants something to do. He swears that he'll learn to play,,, I am really glad that he won the guitar,,, sorry Johnny
