Like the two rehearsal ones a lot.

I would have to change the lyrics though . . .

Well this section of the forum is about the specific callenges of playing in the unique and difficult Worship environments, and the moderators did post some annoyance about people just simply posting links to their MySpace but that was the Twanger Central section, so you're borderline on the first and OK on the second.

But back to the music, pretty cool. To keep it on track, how did you record the tracks (sadly MySpace crashed so I couldn't listen to everything) and how will you create that vibe/tone in your place of worship?

I'm interested in this because we rehearse in a fabulous 19th century church hall and we have a number of specific challenges because of the size and layout of the building. I'm pretty convinced the Victorian builders we'ren't too worried about the future acoustics of an amplified rock band in the 21st century!

Good stuff and I hope MySpace comes back later.

Peter

PS. As I type, it's Sunday morning and out 10th century church bells are ringing out on a fabulous sunny morning. How cool is that?

These tunes were recorded at our church, we mic'd the guitar amps and the bass went thru an amp into the board(No speakers) and the drums were an electronic kit with a live snare. Vocals were recorded into the board but no one was mixing any of it... we just set up turned on the burner and did the rehearsal.... thanks for the kind words.
The guitar is a Trimmed and Burnin Belly Boy. You may want to contact Shannon (trimmed and Burnin') for details... it's a very cool guitar!

Wow! That's awesome quality considering the constraints. We're getting a very boomy sound which we've put down to the hight roof. Oh, and a drummer that hits it very, very hard (he's my son so I have spoken to him about this.

We do have a set of Roland drums so we might give it a try.

I'm going to check out those guitars!

Thanks.

Peter
