Great forum, HORRIBLE website.

Hey guys,

Wow, so I created an account, and I'm at work right now. On and off througout the last couple hours I compiled an amazing story of my first telecaster experience, and how I was modding my new beautiful axe. It had links, amazing explanations, and I just simply loved telling my story. lol

With that said, I hit submit and it says I've been logged out. wtf. This isn't some super high secure area with critical customer account numbers floating around, is it really necessary to have a site that times you out while in THE MIDDLE of doing something? Jeez!

Anyways, the most important part of the post was my personal thanks to everyone on this site. You have provided an astronomical amount of information and honest opinions, and for that, the player, I am thankful for. I hope I can muster up the motivation to talk about my new tele...

Until next time,

Wes

FYI - I also hit the back button like the site said and it put me into an infinite loop of that same message. Lost it all! Wahh, wahh, WAHHHHHH.

Just be sure to check that little "keep me logged in" box when you log in.

I learned that lesson +20 years ago, back in my old Usenet posting days. Always compose long posts with a separate text editor.

I dont know anything at all about things timing out if you dont have the "remember me" box checked, but in my limited experience, this forum's website is much better than most of the other forums (fora?) that I have frequented or checked out. Even those built from similar templates don't have the features or ease of use of TDPRI.

Just my 2 cents.

Tip

Hit "Preview Post" while composing your post and it won't time you out.

Hope it helps, CS

Welcome. Be careful of the Classifieds, they require a secuirty clearance and three tissue samples just to read.
