Greetings from the South. Myrtle Beach to be more specific. I'm an old player and Mechanic (Not Luthier ! ) as well as collector of fine junk. The first time I heard a Tele was through a Champ (around 1971), I thought is was the most awful noise I'd ever heard. Things are not always what they appear to be. Back then it was Gibsons & Marshalls. Nowadays it's Fenders and Fenders.
