Cheesehead saying hi + Gear Gallery

Finally registered and wanted to hello to everyone. Been reading the forums the past few years and have gotten so much information. Really want thank everyone for all the great posts and advice.

Here is my rig run down. Most of the gear was purchased with reviews and recommendations from the good folks on tdpri.

Guitars:

54 AVRI Thin Skin. Purchased from Dave's Guitars here in Wisconsin. Made in May of this year.

97 Inca Silver American Standard Strat. This is my baby. Has been through everything with me. In 2004 I was working in Chicago and had left it with a friend in Iowa. He had a climate controlled basement where he kept his gear. That summer Iowa had some nasty floods and the guitar was under water for about 20 hours. The neck was trashed, finish completely peeling off. The insides and bridge had rusted out. I was gutted. Finally had some cash this spring to get her fixed up. Took her to luthier Gordon Bischoff in Eau Claire, WI and he went to work. Neck refinish, refretted, all new hardware and wiring, and new Texas Special pickups. He thinks that the case might have helped create an air pocket, because there was very little warping of the neck and the body was in good shape. I'll consider myself lucky for that.

American Special Telecaster. Just look at her. So simple, so pretty. I love the satin finish on the neck. Never had a satin finish until I bought this one. Now I take some wool to my strats to get that same feel. Also came with the Texas Special pups, and loved the sound. Was the reason I chose the strat Texas Specials from the Inca Silver strat.

Airline Tuxedo. Bought this one from Pedals Plus here in Eau Claire, WI. Cool little local shop, and he carries a lot of Eastwood products. Went in to get some strings and saw it on the wall. Walked out with it. Semi hollow body with custom Eastwood P90s. Very hot pups. Took off the pickgaurd because I anchor a lot when playing (I know I know!).

Amps and Pedals: Blues Junior, Blues Deluxe, Fender Champ 600, and a little 5W '59 Airline. Just got the power chord changed on the Airline after coming down with a bad case of getting electrocuted. On the board I run through: Tuner/MXR Compressor/Big Muff/Maxon OD808/Boss RC-3.
