This year I have finally given my self permission to give in to the lust for a tele and a small tube amp.

I already own a Godin LG Hmb (which I love) - my first electric guitar that I brought home with a Roland cube mini amp about 8 years ago.

I have spent many hours scouring Kijiji and Craigslist trying to sniff out a deal on gear that I would be happy with the sound and feel of. Most importantly It had to be in a price range that I could explain to my wife if she noticed that there was a new stringed instrument in my music corner.

I promised myself I would find the best Tele copy I could for $100.00. Funny thing - never found one under $150.00. Was seriously contemplating a Squire Affinity for $175.00 when I stumbled across a Stagg for $100.00.

Google searched it. And came across several well thought out comments onTDPRI. Decided to check out the thing in person and bought it on the spot.

Had decided on a Vox Ac4tv ( going rate on Kijiji and CL $210.00) until I found a Bugera V5 for sale for $120.00 - the comments posted on the Bugera V5 club on TDPRI cemented my decision.

I have spent many hours the last few weeks ignoring both my wife's shouting and my LG due to these 2 new acquisitions.

Thanks!
