Hello Everyone

hi fellow telecaster addicts


my names andy i'm 42 years old , live in birmingham ( the original one :) )

ive a 52 reissue telecaster in butterscotch blonde and i play it through my recenty aquired Marshall lead 12 amp which i love the sound of

recently started building my own poplar bodied telecaster , its a hand joined and shaped body made by a carpenter friend of mine, ive just found a maple and rosewood neck on ebay , havnet decided yet on either what pups to use ore more importantly what finish to use

Here I thought Birmingham was in Alabama! (While Dueling Banjos play in the background)

If you haven't discovered already, there are plenty of information here to inform you on your build. Be sure to post up some pictures.

I'm looking into Bill Lawrence's Wilde Pickups for my SX, specifically the L-280TN & L-290TL NF Singles for my self. Great prices for great sounding hand wound pups.
