it sounds great, i am shocked actually. It was purchased at GC, for 400 bucks. With regards to tone it sounds better than my American Std Strat. This is my first tele, and I think im in love. However, the guitar is not listed on the Fender Website, so in terms of specs I would be grateful for any info on it.

It is a Guitar Center Exclusive, called an FSR (Factory Special Run). The biggest differences between it and an MIM Standard as I remember are on your guitar are the reversed control plate, the gloss neck and the 3 saddle brass bridge. Really nice guitars, super great for the $.
