Hi, and welcome! I'm nearby as well, in Hackensack myself. Only been up here about 7 months though, prior to that I was in Central NJ.

Another South Jersey guy here. In these parts we never use just "Jersey" as they do on the TV show. It's either South Jersey or New Jersey; we clam diggers and Pineys like to make that distinction. We tried to secede once, but we got voted down. Welcome; there's plenty to like on this forum. Enjoy!

It's funny you should mention that. I'm originally from Brooklyn, and moved to "Central" NJ with pretty much the rest of the "New Yawkez" seeking suburban life. But I heard that only those New Yawkez refer to it as Central, to the native folks it's just North or South New Jersey.

I'm down South Jersey. Town of Atco (Atlantic Train Co.), where the famous Atco Dragway is.

Anything North of, and including, Trenton, is North Jersey to me.

North,South,East,or West here we are! Im in East Jersey I guess....Toms River,bout 1 mile outta wonderful Seaside Hgts. Oh what a joy....those drunkin kids will be back this year again! That means It'll take me 20mins. to get over the bridge for a slice of tomato pie!(you know the place)

My best buddie lives on 8th st. Keeps his boat on the Brigentine causway. Springtime stripers right around the corner.
