Hello there!

I've never lurked here, but I've seen more than a few threads here that were mentioned in other forums. I am a recent Tele convert after having hated them for most of my life. Now I have the fever, and after purchasing a White Bridge Music Tele (White Bridge is now defunct, RIP) about a year ago, I just recently picked up a Squier Custom II. I'm sure there will be more to come as well.

My guitar playing experience is thus: I started playing in the mid-80s, then put it down in the very early 90s. For years I thought about picking it back up, then about five (or was it six?) years ago, I finally started over again. I'm a hack, but I enjoy playing. I don't have a lot of free time to play with work and family, but I have a nice little section of our finished attic for my music space getaway. I currently own ten guitars, eight of which are not undergoing very slow surgery.

I love to mod, but sometimes I get sidetracked for months on end, so my victims/projects will sit around waiting for me to finish. Currently I have my White Bridge Tele about 80% done, with new black pickguard with a humbucker sized P90 in the neck position, four way Oaks switch and [almost all] black hardware. Oh, the guitar is black, too. My other unfinished project is an SX Strat with GFS Texas alnico pickups. That one will probably never get done because I've lost interest in Strats.

I live in the Central Willamette Valley of Oregon, but I lived most of my life in NW Washington state. I'm in my mid-forties and I work as a technician for a large national company.

That's about it for now. ;)

-Sean

Thanks for the welcome!

I thought I'd post a quick pic of my latest guitar, my Squier Tele Custom II.
