New Tele fan

Hi brand new to the forum here, looks like a great place!

I've been playing acoustic, and am stoked to start playing some electric. I've been trying some electrics and loved the few teles I've played. I'm amazed at how many different models have and are being made. Maybe it's because of the acoustics I've been playing but so far I'm leaning toward a semi-Hollow model.

I'd be interested in any recommendations for semi-hollow tele's in the $500-700 range (new or used is fine), or any solid body models in this range That I should definitely check out. I have bigger hands so will want to stay away from the thinner neck models.

Oh yea, I should mention I like the lighter weight of the semi-hollows - are any of the solid bodies on the lighter side?

Thanks,

Doug

Welcome to the forum. The thinlines are really nice guitars. Great necks IMHO.
