Greetings from England

Hi

I've recently been burgled, and decided to spend the insurance money on a Telecaster to replace my old Gordon Smith ... and its really REALLY invigorated me and my guitar playing. A major injection of enthusiasm! so joined this site

I play Blues and R&B, mainly, but have gotten into country of late, and working on my hybrid picking to get up to speed with the tele sound.

I'm self-taught and have been playing complacently for years, but since buying this Telecaster I'm a whole new player. I've also bought a Line 6 UX1 and love playing with different sounds - so much so I even got a webcam to show friends :)

I look forward to pestering you all for tips!

My youtube vid is here for those interested:

Well in England they don't catch thieves. Not a 'priority' crime -.-

But the new guitar is way better, and with the exchange rates and whatnot my *** Tele was great value.

Been thinking about pimping it with a new scratchplate but unsure of dimensions.

Hell no. Its too pretty!

I keep the strings and other key metal bits lightly lubed for protection from the elements.

I'm moving house so won't need burglar protection anymore
