I've been lurking here for a month or two and finally decided it was time to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas and interests with the many knowledgeable people on this board. I don't currently own a tele but I'm in the middle of assembling one, so I'm very excited about that. I've got about 10 years (hobby) experience in autobody work/finishing and have refinished several guitars for myself and friends, so, I at least know the finish will look impressive enough lol.

I've been playing guitar for about 7 years and most of that time has been spent with a flat top- though I did own a malmsteen strat for a few years

Everyone goes through their phases right? I'm very much into Bluegrass, country and some of the jazzier stuff these days. Tony Rice, Clarence White, Lenny Breau, Danny Gatton, and Jimmy Bryant have been in heavy rotation for me lately. I shouldn't forget Roy Nichols, James Burton, Django Reinhardt and Tommy Emmanuel as influences. That's certainly more than enough from me. Thanks for having me.
