Thanks for all the replies.

Upon rereading the listing I realized that deep in this ad is a slow country ballad best expressed through tele twang and an icy pedal steel solo.

I pick Patty Loveless for lead vocals. What guitarist and steeler should be hired?

(BTW I can't believe I misspelled ad in the title of my first post.)

After looking at the picture, does that not appear to be the thumb of a guy holding the Wah in the close up?

Now, maybe she has manhands, but maybe... just maybe... Sometimes the sizzle sells better than the steak...

They are $104 brand new, so cutting the loss at $100???

Not sure I buy this one.

I've been too long hanging around CL I suppose. I've seen variants of that ad for years... always a cheating guy, always some girl who wants to get even, often a car, or tool or WA Wa pedal. Still funny of course.
