Are you a buddy of those ska guys who do the Dr. Who theme?

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
If you mean Muse, they're from not far away from here, but no, I don't know them. I do, however, use the same guitar shop as them and know the man who makes all of the guitarists instruments (and all of John Paul Jones' basses... and acted as JPJ's bass tech on the Them Crooked Vultures tour). If you mean someone else, then I haven't got a clue, I'm afraid! I answer to pretty much anything, but the name's actually Kieran - spikypaddy was my nickname in school (spiky hair + Irish family + spikypaddy) As per the signature, really. 2009 Fender Baja Tele in blonde, bought new in January, along with a second hand but awesome Custom Vibrolux Reverb. I've been after a 52 reissue for years, but just can't afford it. The Baja looks similar from a distance (if you squint) and will make a good basis for some mods and upgrades. My main guitar (whilst I gently break the Tele in) is actually a 1999 (I think) Mexican Deluxe Super Strat I've had since new, with all black plastics, a set of Lace Sensors, a +25dB mid boost (a la Clapton signature Strat) and a blocked trem. Planned Tele upgrades include a set of compensated saddles and maybe a set of 12's short term, whilst I have a think about pickups and switching... Just ask and it will be done! ![]() It's a group shot because I haven't got any pictures of just the Tele, yet. Pictured: Encore Strat copy with reflective tape racing stripes (mainly used for slide) Baja Tele - used for older/more vintage sounding stuff and when I really want that Tele snarl and twang Fender Strat - used for more modern/higher gain stuff No-name Jazz Bass copy - used for playing bass on... Custom Vibrolux Reverb - used to make everything louder Mesa Boogie V-Twin - used to make stuff louder still Boss Super Chorus - used to make loud stuff swirly Vox Wah - barely ever used at all Korg Pitch Black tuner - used to make everything sound slightly more in tune.
