Hello from Cheshire UK
Hello,
I've been into Teles for 30 years since I saw one in the Bells Music catologue in the early 70's.
It was another 20 years before I actually owned one. It was a Candy Apple Red 1980's 62 Custom reissue. It played superb and still does. Still my fav guitar to play.
After that among a few other makes and models came a self built Brandoni Tele with a beautiful burr walnut veneer and pealoid scratch plate. Suprisingly for a self buid it plays really nice.
Then a 50th anniversary gold hardward Tele in 1996. Book matched maple, etc. Didn't want to get it damaged so never played it, ended up selling it.
Last guitar guitar I bought was a really nice 1998 relic 51 Nocaster with a very nice figured neck. Like the book says 'simplicity on a plate!'
Amp is a 1996 tweed Blues Deluxe. a bit loud for in the house but occasionally gets a blast anyway. :-)
