Helllo from NB Canada!

Well i finally did it! Been looking at this site now for quite a while! I finally picked up my first guitar and it's a TELE!! A Electron Blue 2007 Mex Standard!! I am in love with it! I know this is my first post but what do you guys think about swaping the bridge and pickup to one out of a 62 fender custom?

Well hello brother N.B.er , You have a 62 custom bridge and pickup? If ya can do it cheap enough sounds like a plan. Are the bridges interchangeable. I guess ya could always make one fit. (retrofit)

I haven't picked it up yet but it is from a 62 Custom complete with the Vintage 3 steel barrel Fender bridge for about $ 70.00 can. Just wonder about the swap of the bridge!

That's what i figured out by researching here on the form. I guess the Mex Standards are pretty interchangable parts wise as opposed to the American Standards. I was also looking at a Fender 52 RI pickup but for the price of the 62 pickup and the Vintage bridge it's looking really good!
