Hello from Idaho
Hello Y'all, I've been browsing here for 'bout a week and love this forum. I have learned so many things already in that short amount time. This forum introduced me to Danny Gatton, what a find, thank you. And a gentleman named Ron Kirn, have you seen his website? I've been lost in there for days now. I have been enjoying the Twanger Central section, listening to forum members music never gets old.
Ive been playing for around 30 years, I can't remember how old I was when I started. I should be great but i'm not. Saw some kid on youtube the other day that put me to shame. I love all things guitar and love most styles of playing. Right now Im trying to learn some chicken pickin' and older country, been messing around with some Steely Dan stuff as well. I spent the last three years playing acoustic fingerstyle and classical, about 95% of my playing was on acoustic during that time. I acquired a Road Worn Blonde Tele a couple of weeks ago, and now Im hooked. There is a Barn Buster in my future I think. Anyways great forum, great bunch of guys here, lots of talented players. What more can you ask for. |
