Hi all,

Since I'm such a long time tele-lover, I thought I would join up over here. I'm fairly active under the same username at The Gear Page and Hamer Fan Club.

I love all types of guitars, but my first love was a mid-70's blonde tele that I owned in the early 80s and played through a SF Princeton. Sadly, the guitar was stolen from my car back then and I stupidly sold the Princeton some years back.

Fast forward to today, among many other guitars, I own a Revelator built '63 telecaster and a recent ESP Custom Shop Ronnie Wood Signature model. And I replaced the Princeton with an early 70's SF. Both of these teles are a match made in heaven with the Princeton.

The Revelator is either my #1 or 2 guitar, it flip flops with my Tokai LS-320. It's an amazing piece of work, and the Lollar GVCG pickups are perfect. This guitar plays and sounds like it's been through a barroom brawl or two. The neck feels perfect in my hand, not a baseball bat, but certainly some meat to it. It has a more modern 9.5 radius with 6105 frets. It's a joy to play.

The ESP is an altogether different animal, much more refined. The neck is a little thinner than the Revelator, but it plays like a dream with nice low action. There are a ton of tones in there. I can go from twangy country, through more of a rockabilly sound to some jazzy stuff through the neck HB. Turn up the volume or run it through a little distortion and we get right into some good old classic rock. My only beef is the frets are a little small, but I'm committed to getting use to them.

Here's a couple of pics:
