hey, all. i just signed up and figured i'd do the intro post here.

i've been playing for about 14 years, telecasters and jazzmasters are my main guitars.

currently i own 5 teles:

1) mid-80s MIJ squier
2) mid 80s MIJ fender 62 RI
3) 97 squier protone thinline
4) custom-made tele (swamp ash body, maple neck 'cloned' from a 60s hagstrom, strat tummy and arm contours, and 2 humbuckers with les paul 3-way, 2 vol, 2 tone knobs elec. set up)
5) 2006 fender baja tele

currently only 2 are functional, lol!

, mostly due to lack of pickups or pots.

i joined here because more and more i here about TDPRI on other forums or when i do google searches, so i figured i'd might as well sign up and just come straight here for tele info and questions.

and Mike Bruce : is that ELP you are quoting? Not known for their blazing telecaster duels were they LOL,

Yes indeed, it's ELP. What rock and pop music would be like if keyboards had won the war with guitar.

Thanks for the kind welcome messages! i'm actually afraid to really start digging in and snooping around this forum, becuase i just KNOW it'll make me want to pimp out my teles, or start building a new one, lol!

....the GAS cannot be avoided...do not try to hide from the GAS...you will be assimilated..
