Hey guys, I have been reading these boards for awhile now, so I decided its time to join. I am making an hour and a half trip on Saturday to buy my first tele (been a strat guy my whole life), I cant wait!!!!

I am thinking that I will come home with a vintage hod rod tele, but i am going to look around. I have been reading everything that I can about it, and I played one when they came out.

Welcome to the party. I've been a strat guy most of my playing life (going on 45 years, now), until I recently discovered the joys of a tele. Still play my strats, and always will. But they get far less playing time than the tele's. Enjoy yours!
