Custom Designs

We offer a range of styles of custom decal which are viewable in and can be ordered from our online store: Custom Decal Shop

If you require something even more bespoke please e-mail us (info@rothkoandfrost.co.uk) with details of what you need and we will get back to you with a quote - most designs are possible, and we are happy to offer discounts on orders for multiples of the same design. We can hand draw your name in any style you need, and can also print your own designs from your own artwork.

All of our decals are:

• Printed to order on fresh waterslide paper. The paper is exceptionally thin and remains completely clear, allowing for a flawless edge-free finish.
• Printed using completely opaque inks. The gold and silver we use are truly metallic.
• Compatible with all spray on lacquers including nitrocellulose.

Yes, I've used one of these - I found it tricky to apply, but it looks great.

Aye, our standard decals are thin, so trickier to apply but all signs of the edge should vanish very quickly under lacquer.

For those wanting a thicker decal, or looking to use it on the outside of the finish we can apply a special coating that thickens the decal slightly and also seals the ink. We'll be adding this option as a standard 'upgrade' to our listings shortly.

A request we received today has made me think that's it's worth mentioning that we can do opaque white decals for black or dark headstocks. We'll be adding some sample photos of this to our gallery shortly.
