ARVADA the new surf capital!? Jan. 28, 7 pm
Well, maybe it's not, but the Royal Aces have been fortunate to schedule several dates there lately. The new club called Rockabillies is already bringing us back this Friday, Jan. 28, from the very reasonable hours of 7 to 9 pm. They're at 12363 W. 64th in Arvada.
It's fascinating to see how surf goes over in a club that has more of a mainstream, middle of the road crowd - once again, we had a group of people come up to us at the end of the night last week and say "This is good music...what IS it?" |
