4 Days In Reno

I took my frustration watching my Brown Note D'Lite amp kit hung up in Reno the last couple of days (at least by the FedEx tracker system). The following clip is Jamstix drums, Yamaha Bass though a Fender Bassman amp ... both guitars are my Yamaha SA2000 through the Mesa Boogie Mark I.

Trying to make mojo out of frustration ... :D

That's some dang tasty mojo you've made out of frustration! Now I don't want your amp kit to be permanently stuck here in my hometown (Reno) BUT hang on to that mojo. Great vibe. I loved it!

That's funny ... thanks I thought the track worked out OK too. FedEx still shows the same on the tracker ... but I bet it's moving. Gives new meaning to the word "tracker". It'll probably show up on my doorstep on time ... then the tracker will say "left Reno".

Yeah, hang in there. It could arrive on time. I had a recent experience where I ordered an acoustic guitar from Connecticut. It was shipped UPS 3 day and it was supposed to arrive on a Friday. On Wednesday the tracker said it would arrive Saturday or Sunday. It was delivered one day early on Thursday. But, then again, it was not during the Christmas season. Let's hope the packages are moving and only the tracker is slowed down!

Hang in there...with the Christmas rush and the lastest snow we've had in the mountains, things are moving a bit slower than usual. BTW, love your playing...your slide tone is just great stuff. I've finally set a guitar up for slide and where I was a bit frustrated before, it makes a huge difference for me.

Hope your happy when your D'Lite finally arrives. It is one heck of an amp.

So there has been snow in that area? Maybe it's really stuck

Thanks on the slide playing. I love playing slide but by necessity I had to learn to play standard tuning and action. Had a ton of really nice guitars ... but always one at a time until recently. It's a cool thing to play around with ...

I think the D'Lite will be great from the clips and the info I've gotten from the guys on the net. So ... looking forward to it. It would be great to switch between the Boogie 6L6 and the D'Lite 6V6.
