Funk-jazz tune with Jason Lollar Special T's

I just checked out my new Jason Lollar Special T's.

They have a warm and mellow tone.

thanks to Anton from the TGP for the fantastic backing track and thank to you guys for listening,

Marin

I listened to some of your other cuts on soundclick, and I can't tell much difference in the tone between the Lollar and the previous pup. Sorry. the Lollar might have a little more treble-maybe. But didn't matter to me. I really like your phrasing and style. the tele sounds great with either pup with you playing it.
Really Like what your doin'

That interesting. I was thinking about that the other day: is that I always tend to tweak those 2-3 sounds I like, irrespectively of the equipment I am using?

thanks for listening and your kind comment.

I find that to be true of MANY guitar players, including me.

Man, I love that kinda music..... Excellent tune!

I tend to agree about pups and such. I can never tell that much difference in sound of different pups. As far as I can tell, my '52RI and '94 AS Tele sound identical. I feel that the person on the other side of the pick makes all the difference.

I can hear a big difference in the tone. The lollars have a lot more body and girth, sweeter highs and better mids.

Having had the Lollars for a few days now, I'll tend to agree with benbo. The Lollars certainly sound "meatier"!

Marin, it sounds great! I really love the way the Lollars sound compared to the other ones. There is a certain similarity for sure, because it's you playing them all, but the Lollars sound sweeter to me.

BTW, I love the Jaco tune on your Soundclick site. :)

Very cool. Great Tele tone, and I love your sense of timing and phrasing. Really tasty stuff--thanks for sharing.
