A hillbilly song ....or? something
A friend of mine wrote the lyrics ab about an old girlfriend from way back when he was young and wild (he's from USA but live here in Sweden nowdays), and I did a little recording on it.
It's the first time in my life I play the drums too so I beg your forgivness for that "simple" rythm hehe but I had a hard time keeping up the tempo all the way through the song. Also I want to warn you there's no harmony vocals on yet and no fiddle and no piano but there will be soon. It's recorded on a porta studio (Roland VS-2480)and I play everything except the steelgit and the vocals. Mountain Moonshine Mama Last edited by Hellecaster; July 7th, 2006 at 03:13 PM. |

Made me remember
"Lol" thanks "Knopfler style".
Your words got me to think about once when a friend of mine toured with a bluegrass band in Texas and an elderly guy came on to the stage and poured a couple cups of sand on the floor, then he kickt off he's shoes and started dancing like crazy in the sand hehe. I wonder it the sand dance was a local tradition or something? :-) Last edited by Hellecaster; July 9th, 2006 at 03:01 PM. |
