my first "twang" post here....

http://www.markchapmanband.com/ Click this and the song should start when you get to the site.

Heres my new bands site, the song is a cover tune that you'll recognize. We took a different twist on it and I'm doing all the country pickin'. I ran out of cool licks in the 2nd "Johnny" solo, so forgive me if they sound similar

I recorded that using....... Let me leave that along for now and see if you can guess what I'm playing my tele through.

The rock parts were done about 8 - 10 years ago using an ADA MP-1 and a Lee Jackson power amp in to a Peavey 4x12.

Let me know what you think, I'm still going to go in and mix my guitar a little better and maybe re-do last "country" part.

Enjoy!

EDIT: I had to pull the song down so people wouldn't get the wrong idea of our style of music. I'll have it back up later along with some more songs.

Go ahead and play through the rest of it. Particularly at the end. The country solo is the one the won the contest, after all.

For words that make more sense, in a case like this, try to find Jerry Reed's version. It's guitar based instead of fiddle.

Sound's like a lot of fun.
