Good job man!
I love your tone, and your note choice. You have a very very refreshing, almost vocal quality in your phrasing that is missing in a lot of music today.

So many guys nowdays think all there is to tele playing is a million notes a second. (I've been guilty of the same thing in my youth.. thank goodness we get smarter as we get older!) Now I try to play to the song, and my playing sounds a lot more LIKE MUSIC to me.

My Grandfather (who was a pretty good guitarist himsellf) used to say, "Just because I CAN, Doesn't mean I SHOULD!

I hear that sort of wisdom in your playing as well. Again, Great Job!

Agree, also with acoustics.

In the beginning you did get some nice "grunch" tones, did like that very much.

Where that double stops, or was your Amp turned very loud, can you explain how you did get that?

Keep up the good work 8)

I'm very thankful of everyone comments, The tele on the cut is a CIJ '70s reissue, maple neck, stock everything. Run directly into a BOSS BR-1600 digital studio, emulating a Bassman amp.

It was all improvised, some of the best parts are actually me getting mad, I thought I had screwed it up (actually I did). I hardly ever can play the same licks, or even remember what I did most of the time.

Speed is a rush for some, and I admire and respect those players that have the work ethic to get their playing to that level.

Truth is, I'm a lazy undisciplined player, I would have much more legitamacy if I could play those fast competitive licks, but speed as a primary goal, has never been a motivation for me, expressing emotions is everything.

You forgot to sing!

How am I supposed to tell if your licks are in the right places?
Sounded good for sure. Some people play the blues like they have a stick up their butt. You have feeling though. Keep up the good work!
