Mercy - Hard Blues - with Video

I made this video to go with the song I wrote. I recorded the song in my office and used my Esquire (parts build) and my SX Callisto JR (P90's) for the guitar parts and programmed the rest, drums, bass, keys into my DAW... I'm a one man outfit...

I call it a Hard Blues for lack of a better name... Chris Allen - Mercy

... the video was shot with my little Kodak Playsport. Thanks...

Wow. For the first few seconds I thought, no that's not my kind of music at all. BY second # 53 My interest was perking up.
At first I thought the drums sounded aweful (and they do) but it fits perfectly. Mind you, I'd hate to try a solo with that Bass skin with that huge rip in it.
The expressions of emotion and feelings totally blew me away. That was darn nice work.
Hard Blues. I think you've started a new Genre there.
Maybe Dark Blues would be a better term though. It's kind of a stretch to put the word Blues in there at all but I see where you are coming from.
It's kind of Medieval. Yeah, Medieval Blues. Market that puppy.
I could see that going far to be honest. The young masses will Love it.
Nothing beats original works in my mind.
Big time major respect Chris. Thanks for posting.
psssst best copyright that puppy real fast.

Chris,

I showed your film and song to my 16 year old son. He loved it. Has been singing it for a full day now and while he plays his drums.

Regards

In reality it was copyrighted the day he made it.
Its somewhat of a misnomer that one needs to cop0yright something through the government, though that is advised.

Art is copyrighted the day its created if one has the original work on paper or recording.

One thing about this piece of music (at least for me) without the visual, it wouldn't stand on it's own. Oh it would be okay, but the video really has to accompany it for most to see the picture the music has so artfully described.

This work of art5 is at least as much visualy as audio.
